Sisterly 'Love' (Story in Description) Picture

Emava was a peculiar girl, almost a complete opposite of Lattura. While Lattura was tall, bright, and kind, Emava, even from appearance, came off as a short, dark, and unsettling. Lattura explained that their parents had always favored Emava over her, as the older child and more "pretty." She had not seen much of Emava since she left. She was also known for her practices, something a Priestess might faint at. Dafinra decided it was probably best if she did not wear her Priestess dress to see her.

As she and Lattura walked into the room, one that Lattura lived in as a child, the small cat (who was wearing a black dress, with a grey x pin on the corner of the squared neckline) turned to greet them.

"Oh, sister, you should have knocked before you let the trash in," Emava said in a cold voice, giving a hard stare to Dafinra. Dafinra felt her mouth curve into a nervous grin, and her wings wrap around herself nervously. Emava glanced back at Lattura, before asking, "Now, why are you here?"

Lattura began to explain Dafinra's feeling, and the fears spawning from it. Emava kept on gazing at Dafinra as she listened, her orange eyes hardly leaving the blue cat. As Lattura finished explaining, Emava laughed a bit, and asked, "What do you expect me to do about it?"

"Can't you do something, something that can make sure we don't get separated?" Dafinra asked, her ears lowering. She hardly noticed the tiny feathers growing at her ears, which would show up from time to time. She kept them hidden, not even Lattura knew about them. No one seemed to notice them now, but Emava stared at Dafinra, before coldly saying, "I'll see what I can find."

Emava approached the bookshelf lined walls, and began searching through books. Occult books, not the books like Dafinra was used to of mythologies and laws and whatnot. No, these books were what that friend of Fojard's (the one obsessed with the demons) read. Full of spells, chants, curses, and more. Oh how the Priestesses would kill her if they got word of this all.

Eventually, Emava found the right book, and she seemed to crack a smile, or as much as the girl could. "I found one, but it might be a tad... Painful." She said, almost in a hissing tone, "But it will work."

Dafinra and Lattura glanced at each other, but both nodded. Emava smiled, and murmured, "Good."

The entire ritual was a tad unusual, as Emava kept on chanting and preparing things for the ritual, and when she was prepared, she walked up to Dafinra with some sort of sharp tool. "Hold still," she said, as she drove the sharp edge into her back. Afraid that the cat was about to drive the tool directly into her breath tank, Dafinra had jumped at this, as the mark that should have been circular turned into a small slash in her back. Emava gave an unimpressed look to the younger cat. She rolled her eyes, before murmuring a small enchantment with her paws on the newly found wound. It seemed, incomplete at the moment, but Dafinra understood why within a few seconds.

Emava walked over to her sister, and did the same, although Lattura stayed completely still, but just simply winced at the wound. Emava placed her paws over the wound, and completed the chant, and for a moment, Dafinra could swear she saw a small, glowing line appear between the two, but with a small flash it was gone.

"There, its completed," Emava said, dusting off her black dress. "Now no matter what, you'll always find eachother, alive, or even after death," she glanced at the two.

"Thank you, Emava," Dafinra said, but the purple cat simply shot an ice cold gaze.

As she and Lattura turned to leave the room, Emava called to Lattura, who had turned around, and asked, "What is it?"

"Remember to knock next time, sister." She hissed quietly, and dismissed the two.
