Man and Nymphs Picture

This my rendition of Hylas and the Nymphs by John William Waterhouse, when I first saw this piece I felt as though he was about to be eaten, and when I entered the art competition at a JCL convention I felt compelled to do a version of it. Unfortunately it was removed from the watercolor section, I was never told why, but I can only assume that it was because I made it so dark, this was my first time working with water colors, and well, I wanted it dark lawl. Someone also spilled something on it, making it bleed, as you can see in the left hand corner. OH and I almost forgot, that is suposed to be blood in the right hand corner.
-I always forget something, this was on printer paper and a lot of it was experimentation and learning, so that's why the quality varies so much from place to place

Please do not use, trace, etc this without my permission.
