The Red String of Fate is:

A common concept, especially in series dealing with romances, is the Red String of Fate (akai ito or unmei no akai ito). It is an East Asian belief originating from Chinese legend ... Usually involved in Reincarnation Romance.

Well, without realizing it, I utilized this trope in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Next Generation with the Hatshepsut/Jacob --> Haushinka/Jake romance. I sincerely hope they're not strangling you all.

I had a lot of planning go into this. I was torn between having them side by side as opposed to far apart. I chose the latter, since it seemed to give the string more of a distance to stretch across. I know they don't exactly look happy to be connected ... it's just supposed to be dramatic.

I debated on the including the background for a while. In the end I decided to use it. Though it's obvious, I'll explain its significance anyway. At the bottom are the pyramids, a symbol of their past life in ancient Egypt together. And at the top is Domino High, the place that brought them back together. Yeah, it's mushy, but I'm a hopeless romantic, so there it is.

Drawn completely on MS Paint, to my own shock.
