Tyr Picture

This is just some stuff I´ve done now during the holiday... I sat down reading a book about norse mythology and then a sudden urge to draw the characters popped into my mind. Just made em to keep my drawningskills fresh...

Some info:
Tyr means "god" and is described as one of the bravest of all gods in Asgård. In the tale about the imprisoning of Fenrisulven, Tyr loses his right hand (or arm?) when he is the only god who dares to have his hand in the jaws of the wolf.
The reason he puts his hand there in the first place is because the gods have snared Fenrisulven in the chains called Gleipner, chains who looked like strains of silk but were stronger than any material ever made. In ransom that the wolf allowed the gods to snare him (the wolf thought he could break the chains) he wanted a god to put his hand in his jaws...
