Page five of twelve. This was a quite boring page, so I wanted it over with as fast as possible. Don't know why I keep writing stories that take place at marketplaces, when I hate to draw panels with lots of people in them...

Not much is known about Minoan religion, but they seem to have worshipped some kind of mother-goddess. According to paintings, what is thought to be either goddesses or priestesses had a quite prominent role. This is a far less misogynous society than that of Classical Athens, that appears in my previous comic "Stories of the Past".

This is before Rhea and her children have been recognized as gods. They are immortal beings, but so far without rights and honours.
