Sirara Picture

This is Sirara, she is named after Sirara is the goddess of the Persian Gulf in Sumerian mythology. In creation mythology she is given charge over the waters of the Gulf by the god Enki. Personally I think this little dragon might be a bit overwhelmed by the Persian Gulf and would much prefer a nice wildlife pond with lots of reeds to curl herself around.

Like most dragons, Sirara, enjoys collecting shiny things to decorate her body and wings. She has pretty fresh water pearls in her wings and black onyx beads for eyes. She and all her little dragon friends have moonstones somewhere about their person, Sirara has her's curled up in her tail. When I was very little I read a book about a little dragon like Sirara. When the little dragon was put next to some moonstones he ate them and turned into a a real dragon who flew away to that place far away where dragons live. So make sure you watch out for those moonstones going missing, you don't want a giant fire-breathing dragon on your hands!

She is just under 3 inches heigh and 1.25 inches wide.

Sirara is for sale. She has a hole between her wings for threading things through so she would make a beautiful focal bead, wall hanging or any other hanging thingies you can think of. She could also have a pin attached to her back so you can wear her on your jacket or other pinable item. Please contact me if you are interested. Otherwise she will go on Etsy [link] in a few days.
