For the ferryman.. Picture

A coin for Charon. More precisely it was an Obolos and it was placed inside the mouth, under the tongue of the dead, as a toll for the ferryman, who would take the deceased to the underworld of Hades through the river Acheron.
Some say there was two coins that was placed on the eyes. I chose this one because it was more direct.
