Odysseus and Penelope Picture

Half a world apart and still together. Odysseus had to overcome years of obstacles (and scheming of the Gods) to return to her; and Penelope had to be as cunning as she was patient to wait for him.
These two little sketches mirror each other: the ropes of his ship echo the threads of her loom that she would weave every day and un-pick every night.

Each one measures 2.5x2.5"
