Bold Athena Picture

I grew up on a steady literary diet of scientific texts concerning dinosaurs, books bursting with dragons and other fantastical critters, and mythology- especially Greek mythology. While I was a book nerd to the point that the annual "Turn Off TV Week" would have come and gone unnoticed to my elementary-age self had the rest of my family not turned on the television now and again, Disney is what introduced me to that most convoluted (yet somehow very accessible) pantheon; to this day, it is hard for me to disassociate the color blue with Athena because of that movie (also, Pegasus totally has a blue mane and tail). I'm working on it.

And so here we have Athena, albeit in a more casual state, and certainly a younger-looking one, and not a bit of blue to be found anywhere on her costume.
