Voila! This month I've been reading a lot on ancient Greece and Greek mythology. The knit that probably kept everything entertaining enough, was the really cool anthropomorphic representation of the deities in their system of belief: angry, jealous, loving, hurt, irritated... practically, as ordinary men.

I drew this in class while we were supposed to read some verses I had already read the previous day. This could be the way the Greek Gods used to dry their clothes in the sun, high up on the rocky sides of Mount Olympus, above the forests under which the mortals dwell.

The baggy pants belong to Zeus, the jeans are Apollo's, and the socks are stolen from an Athenian baby cradle
