Sailor Summanus Picture

Sailor Summanus is the equivalent of Sailor Jupiter during the night, literally a shadowy counterpart to Jupiter. She is like Sailor Jupiter's shadow, constantly attacking foes when she feels Jupiter is threatened, or when Jupiter can't fight for whatever reason.

Some of her attacks include Lightning Daggers, Lightning Storm, and Rolling Thunder. Her weapons are a set of twin daggers. Her symbol is the same as Sailor Jupiter’s only in reverse.

In Roman mythology, Summanus was the god of nocturnal thunder, as opposed to Jupiter, the god of diurnal (daylight) thunder. Summanus' temple stood at the Circus Maximus, and every June 20th cakes were offered to him as propitiation.
