Eos of the rose fingers” (”Ῥοδοδάκτυλος Ἠώς”, Rhododaktylos Ēōs, as Homer used to call her), was the ancient Greek goddess of dawn.
She rose each morning from her home at the edge of the Oceanus and was the daughter of the titans Hyperion and Theia, and sister of Helios, the sun, and Selene, the moon.
