The Mythical Trees Picture

For each of these trees, the inspiration were literature, myths and poems.

From left:

1 - to the great and very climatic poem "The Erlking" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

2 - to the music composition "Hall of the Mountain King" by Edward Grieg.

3 - to the Arabic myth about the tree supporting night sky and the moon.

4 - to the Polish poem "Balladyna" by Juliusz Słowacki.

5 - to the Slavic mythology - the Oak.

6 - to the Norse mythology - Yggdrasil, the tree supporting the whole world.

7 - to the Holy Book, the Snake and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

8 - to the wonderful Japanese poetry Haiku of Basho.

Full view is recommended as I hid some little details in each of them.
