Hecate's Night Picture

In Greek mythology, Hecate is one of the goddesses of the Underworld. She is the goddess of witchcraft, darkness, the night and crossroads. She usually appears with three bodies or with three heads, and she also mostly illustrated with torches and daggers. Instead of a torch, I gave her blue flames and a snake around her hand. Hecate likes black animals, her attributes are black dogs and cats mostly but I found some illustrations in which she is holding a snake. The bones under her feet symbolise the Underworld where she came from, and where she goes back when the Sun comes up.

So, here is another moon goddess for my Greek Goddesses series, I hope you'll like her.
