Xenodoran: In the Underworld Picture

Full View ^^

Xenodoran, my new lupeh! He is awesome, and based on Greek Mythology, cause Greek Mythology rawks. Cha!

He is the future ferryman(lupe?). The ferryman's job is to take the dead across the Acheron river, also known as the River of Woe. And then the souls are judged by the three judges, Rhadamanthus, Minos, and Aeacus, to determine their sentance. But you can only get across the river if you pay. That is why the greeks put coins on the lips of the dead, to pay the ferryman.

In the background, you can see Cerberus, the three headed dog who lets the souls in the underworld, but never lets them out. Such a cute widdle doggie! *head gets bitten off*
