Laocoon Picture

The sculpture is really good, you should look it up. (Fun art historical fact: it was excavated my Michelangelo.) It tells a story from mythology about the Trojan War. The story goes that the prophet Laocoon warned the Trojans to beware of Greeks bearing gifts. Then Athena got mad at him and sent down snakes on Laocoon and his two sons. SNAKES! WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE SNAKES?
