Janus: The Chariot Picture

I choose Janus to represent the Chariot because the Chariot is symbolized by two horses of different color (usually one white and one black) attempting to pull the Charioteer into two different directions and Janus is the two headed god. The Chariot represents the opposing nature within ourselves, and it is somewhat symbolic of the id, ego and super ego. Janus represents opposing natures. Mostly commonly associated as being the god of Beginnings and Endings or Past and Future, Janus also stands for war and peace, death and birth, the primal and civilization.
