Ilmatar Picture

Time for my bi-annual original art submission again!

I think I've been requested to submit paintings I've done, so here goes.
This is from the last year - my this year's painting is still in the art school. I found this photo floating in some Picasa album, I guess my art school's, and thought I could submit it here.

Pictured is an ancient Finnish goddess, Ilmatar. The great Finnish mythology hero Väinämöinen is her and the wind's kid, and the world was created when she decided to go floating in the sea and some bird laid some eggs on her knee.
Yeah, if there's a mythology that's not weird in every way, I've yet to hear about it.
