Top 10 Favorite Heroes Picture
Now,when the villains are wreaking havoc in the world, then there are the heroes that have to stop them. These are in my opinion some of the most well-written and awesome heroes to date. These are my opinion so don't complain if a certain character didn't make the cut for this list. Rules are simple, one per franchise and only from games I've played or cartoons or anime I've seen. So here is my top 10 favorite heroes.Continue Reading: Giants
10. Ralph (Wreck-it-Ralph)
This is one of the more interesting heroes in general because he started out as a villain from his own video game series but he eventually fled away because he doesn't want to become the bad guy anymore. Later on, he meet new friends like Vanellope and also learns that some villains can change ways. I felt sorry for Ralph since he can't really help the mistakes he cause and he really cares. Also, if Turbo gets in the way, he'll wreck him up.
9. Danny Phantom (Danny Phantom)
Now this is a hero from my nostalgic childhood. In my opinion, this is one of the BETTER shows that Nickelodeon has to offer in my past. Danny is basically your ordinary high school student until he discovered a secret in his parents lab thus getting turned himself into a half phantom. Using certain abilities with gadgets that Tucker made, he is able to stop dangerous threats, specifically Vlad in particular.
8. Hei (Darker than Black)
As a Chinese myself, I'm inclined to like Hei. Come on, he lives a double life as a student during the daytime, and a cold-blooded assassin in the night wearing his badass mask. He is also one of the strongest contractors in the series and usually has to fight off other contractors, notably November 11's forces. Finally, he uses his mystic powers to control electricity, and also wields a army knife with a grappling hook nicknamed by some people to be the "Chinese Batman". His English Voice Actor is Jason Liebrecht who also voiced Lavi from D. Gray Man, Train Heartnet from Black Cat, Finnian from Black Butler, and Abel from Super Street Fighter IV.
7. Yuri Lowell (Tales of Vesperia) Yes, that's a guy
THIS GUY, is arguably one of the most non-cliched main characters I have seen in RPG's in general. Yuri Lowell is a former Knight of the Imperial Army and a member of the Hunting Guild Brave Vesperia. He comes across as sarcastic and cynical, possibly due to the way the nobility treated the people of the Lower Quarter. He seems to enjoy teasing others, especially Karol and Rita, although he does develop a strong bond of friendship with the former, becoming something of an older brother figure. Unlike many main characters in the Tales series, Yuri has a more fully-formed personality due to his matured age. He is an emphatic young man who prefers to solve smaller problems from individuals rather than the larger, more political ones. Finally, he is voiced by Troy Baker, who also voiced Kai-Lang from Mass Effect, Joel from The Last of Us, and Kanji Tatsumi from Persona 4.
6. Homura Akemi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica)
Don't let the cover of this anime fool you, cause this anime is without a doubt one of the DARKEST I have ever seen. And no character had a major impact on me than Homura herself. She started out as this shy and reserved character who warns Madoka about consequences in becoming a goddess. Also, later on, the reason she acted so serious is because she reveals that she can go back in time and she comes from an alternate future of destruction. Also her character really develops when she realizes her mistakes. Finally, she is awesome in battle, she wields many different weapons including sniper rifles, machine guns, bows and arrows, bazookas, gold clubs, a circular shield, and katanas in her wide arsenal of weapons. Yes, she is THAT awesome.
5. Edward Elric (Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood)
Come on, Ed HAD to be on the list and would be pretty high as well. Edward Elric is considered by many to be one of the greatest Shonen characters of all time and it is easy to see why. During his childhood, Edward and his brother Alphonse tried to resurrect their dead mother but it didn't work out so well. Edward lost his right arm and left leg, while Alphonse lost his entire body and his transmuted soul is inside a suit of armor. In order to restore their bodies, they need to find the Philosopher's stone. He also gets an auto-mail arm which he can use to form a dagger within and can also use alchemy without a transmutation circle. Also, Ed has to deal with many threats including the Homonculli and other chimeras. Finally, no matter how many times you call him short, he will still kick your ass. Also, his English voice actor is Vic Mignogna. Nuff Said.
