Sol System- Inner Orbital Worlds Picture
Sol 1: MercuryContinue Reading: Giants
The Boiling Planet, as the early human space travelers called it. The surface of the planet has been uninhabitable since it formed, as the temperatures reach two unbearable extremes. Given the lack of a sustainable or habitable atmosphere, Mercury was impossible to terraform, and remained that way until the the Sol System ended. In the mid 2300s, the humans set up several domed, hospitable bases as a type of a secret oasis during the War of Gonidu. After the war, the bases were not shut down. In fact, the basis became a kind of tourist attraction, a veterans haven. As the popularity grew, so did the bases. The domes had been taken down and rebuilt so many times due to size expansion and population overflow, that eventually, four of the bases became the Four Great Cities of Mercury. The six smaller bases were also heavily populated, but were more agriculture-based.

Sol 2: Venus
Early human astronomers called Venus the Sister Planet of their home world, Earth. Venus has a similar size and orbit to Earth's, but at one point had a very violent atmosphere and slow orbit. In the 2380's, The inhabitants of the Sol System, including humans and a couple other races, began looking for more planets to terraform. Venus was one of the candidates, as they found a level of the Venusian atmosphere that had a habitable temperature. Using gravity shift technology, the rotation of Venus was sped up, lowering the temperature enough to establish floating cities in the habitable atmospheric zone. Many techniques were used to stabilize the atmosphere, including the introduction of hydrogen into the atmosphere (taken from some of the gas giants in the outer Sol System), and artificial bacteria that converted some of the material in the air into organic compounds. By the early 2500s, the surface of the planet was habitable, and by 2700, the planet was completely stable, filled with lush plant life and gorgeous oceans. Venus is famous for its floating cities which still float about in the planet's sky, and it's unique architecture.

Sol 3: Earth
The home-world of the Humans, who evolved into a modern state of civilization at around 40,000 BC. 42,000 years after their modern adaptation, the first of the human race began to leave the planet and explore other planets. Earth itself has been habitable for millions of years, and has gone through millions of years of evolution and development. As the humans began to terraform the other planets and moons of the Sol System, Earth became a central hub, filled with gorgeous metropolises and land marks. Other species have shared the planet, but the inhabitants are primarily human. Before the interstellar expansion of the human race, Earth was visited by two different races caught in war with each other: The Atum from planed Mayara, and an unnamed species that the have been littered throughout Human mythology, simply known as "Greys". The Atum were worshipped by early humans as Gods, and were responsible for influencing early architecture of cities made by the Egyptians and Mayans.

Sol 3: Luna
The only moon of Earth. For millions of years, this world was simply an empty, beautiful arid rock orbiting the Earth. In the mid 3400s, the human race began experimenting with artificial atmosphere technology and targeted gravity. One of the candidates for these experiments was their moon, Luna. Luna was an appropriate size for an atmosphere, and was able to sustain a massive artificial gravity. Over many years, asteroids rich with frozen water were redirected into the moon, solar mirrors were set up around the moon, and atmospheric robots began to orbit. Eventually the moon became stable and habitable, the ground became fertile, and plants were imported from Earth. In areas without artificial gravity, forests could stretch hundreds of feet in the air, and animals learned the art of flight.
The Lunan sky is very similar to earth's with a purple sunset.

Sol 4: Mars (Natec)
Homeworld of the Norsatic, or as the humans know them, the Native Martians. Millions of years before the humans began to evolve, the Norsatic were forming tribes on the planet that is now known as Mars. However, since the universe was young, and full of accumulated debree flying about, Mars was consistently bombarded by asteroids and meteors, just as earth was. Unlike Earth, however, Mars's gravity was not strong enough to keep the atmosphere in tact during one of the greatest meteor showers in history. Unfortunately, all life on the planet perished in ice as the atmosphere faded away. Millions of years later, in the mid 2000s, the human race chose mars as their first extraterrestrial expedition. By that point, all fossils were buried under the surface, and undetected by humans in the arid, frozen landscape. In the 2020s, the human race began to set up colonies on Mars, not only to satisfy their curiosity, but to create a solution to the human population overflow. By the mid 2050s, several domed cities were established all over the planet, and by the 2070s, the human race was receiving aid from a newly met alien race for their first terraformation project. The project took years, but by the late 2200s, the planet was fully terraformed, and filled with an ecosystem that was a combination of plant and animal life from both Earth and the planet Petscota.
The Martian Sky is a blue with a greenish tint and an orange sunset.
