2013 In Review Picture

Welp. That year happened. Might as well list off a few things here and there, eh?

The introduction of color was very helpful and appealing, I would say. I'm using a basic freeware software and a mouse for my digital work, but I've only scratched the surface of what I could do with GIMP. Different brush and airbrush options can eventually produce better colors, shading, and stylistic choices.

2013 also saw the introduction of quite a few new characters, the main two being Leona and Claire, both of which eventually fell into this four-person group that most of the stories focus on. A nice canonical and developmental center, and it allows me to practice distinct character design, dynamics in personality, and the all-important giant boobs and hips. Not sure if it's working, but it's a start. Hopefully.

Maybe round off each character a bit.

How am I doing? Like, how are the characters? Do they come off well enough? Are they drawn alright? Have I stayed away from things like flat exposition and forced character drama without justification? Because I don't mind tropes. They are what they are. And they exist because people frequently use them. And I'm not opposed to using them. I'm just opposed to asinine story practices I see. Like a picture of, say, just a flat out crying character with no justification or a "You Vs. The World" metaphor or something like that.

I dunno. I'd like a little criticism or commentary on it, if ya'll don't mind. An outside input. So, uh, yeah.
