Talos sampsoni Picture

Talos sampsoni is a recently discovered Troodontid from the Late Cretaceous of Utah, living with other species such as Kosmoceratops and Teratophoneus.

The specimen had a damaged sickle claw that was broken in life, and had been like that for some time before death. This lead to it being named after the bronze giant Talos in greek mythology, who was defeaten after an injury to his ankle.
