DCC International Holiday Bash Poster-Brazil Picture

The poster for Brazil that I made for the International Holiday Bash that my college had on December 9th, 2011. This poster was interesting in that it was the first country to started on, and the second in the series (after the Christmas tree poster) but one of the most recent to be completed, my having left it and then started work on other posters coming back to this one last. Having knew already that the series would have an Art Deco theme, I instantly thought of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil, which is the largest Art Deco statue in the world, and some would say, ironically enough of a religious figure (some people have interpreted Art Deco as being highly humanistic and futuristic in it's subject matter and style, a combination of Greco-Roman ideals, mythology, and modern technological advancements and aesthetics).
