Ananse's Spiderweb
Belonging to the Adinkra symbols, created from ancient mythology and culture of West Africa's ancient tribes, represents the intellect and the power of creativity through effort and ingenuity, being both a direct reference to the deity Ananse, which means "spider" in their mother language. Ananse was indeed, a divine figure with the mere form of a spider, but capable of amazing feats. It is known for great feats of ingenuity and cunning in many classical myths, which not only freed humanity from destruction in more than one occasion, but also shows that sometimes what matters is not our attributes or resources as human beings, but how we use them to excel and achieve our goals.
