The Morrigan Picture

Druidic Goddess Morrigan. She represents Death, Birth, Rebirth and War. She was the most feared figure in Celtic history, as the keeper of the Dead.

Morrigan is traditionally shown as a woman with a raven's head, wings and talons. But, I'm not too good with bird heads, so I drew her with a human face.

I'm very proud of how this turned out. Done almost entirely digitally, drawn mostly on tablet (over a rough pencil sketch).

The background was a picture of lightening I skewed, then covered 55% using the Cloud filter on Photoshop.
