The Walls of Mycenae Picture

This drawing was inspired by Homer's Illiad and Greek mythology in general. It features the figure of Clytemnestra, wife of Agamemnon, awaiting the return of her husband from the Trojan War and meditating his impending murder.
I used a live model and sketches I made when visiting the ruins of Mycenae in Greece. Pencil and charcoal on paper.
