Kappa Study Picture

I liked the sketches, so I scanned and CG'ed them today.

Kappa are river imps of Japanese folklore, often depicted as a roughly humanoid figure with a scaly skin, turlte-like shells, webbed hands and duck beaks.
I tried taking a step away from both popular and traditional kappa designs, and make them look like intelligent empathizable humanoids, but not too human. So I payed extra attention to anatomy of the face and limbs. They have long pointy ears because I like long pointy ears.
