Oh Herakles! Picture

The vertical stabilizer of a Greek fighter plane, on show at Fairford (UK) in 2007. It shows Herakles (Hercules in Latin), wearing his lionskin and carrying a club as well as the Delphic tripod. The inscription reads "Oh Herakles! He continues the labours anywhere, anytime", as far as I can make out. The style is kept in the tradition of ancient Greek red-figure vase paintings.
