Eikthymir Picture

finally got around to finishing this tonight. took longer than any of the other's ive done, probably because it's more detailed, im trying new things, and i've got over 100 more colors to fool with.

anywho, the Eikthymir is apparantly a great stag (here of the red deer type) from Norse mythology, that feeds on the leaves of the world tree Ygdrasil. unfortunately, those are oak leaves floating by, while Ygdrasil is actually an ash tree. yeah. should have researched that a tad more. its name means "one with oak-like antlers", hence, why i figured "oh! how bout an oak tree?!" the water that drips from his antlers form the rivers and streams of the world.
