Ancient fresco: the Underworld Picture

This ancient fresco depicting various characters in the ancient Greek underworld of Hades is by Polygnotus, and once stood in the shrine of Apollo at Delphi. It contains a great number of historical and mythological figures named (in Greek) in the picture. The reproduction comes from the detailed description in the writings of Pausanias, and this was drawn for a German classical dictionary in the 19th century. I've enlarged the image and made it pure black and white inks for use as a resoruce.
