KT - New-Delphi's Python

Eupython novodelphicus.

A shallow sea water monitor-like lizard occurring in Eastern Hemitethys (former East Mediterranean Sea, current Jon Sea *former Ionian*), swimming in bottom brackish ponds along Herodotus Ridge. Returning to Mesozoic Mosasaurian model, the Pythons are predators and they're a serious peril for Neahellenic fishermen. It size reaches that of a Nile crocodile.
