The Sacred Bull Picture

The complete title of this image is "The Sacred Bull Carries the Moon Dancer". It is inspired in one of the most famous frescoes from the Minoan Palace of Knossos, in the island of Crete: "The Bull-Leaping". It depicts a ceremonial game where men as well as women leaped over the body of a bull. The animal was NOT sacrificed at the end of the ceremony. The original fresco dates back to the 15th century B.C. Mine is a free interpretation of the event and dates back to 2004
I did some texturing postwork in Photoshop too.
