Icarus Picture

Icarus, Ἴκαρος: In Greek mythology, (son of the master craftsman Daedalus) Icarus tried to escape from Crete using wings made from wax and feathers, courtesy of his father; but, contrary to instructions given to him, he flew too close to the sun, and as the wax melted, he fell to his death in the purling waters below.

Interestingly, I don't like classics in general, but Icarus is a favourite Greek myth. Though I like Demeter and Persephone too.

I am considering Illustration at uni. Maybe. They don't do it at Oxford. So this is something a bit different...? It's just a little postcard thing for charity, in between doing the artbook and stuff, so leisurely.

Materials Used: Copic in some form of yellow, Micron Pigma Black 0.5mm.
