Into the forest we ride... Picture

DOWNLOAD please!!! Raven looks much better that way.

Kind of a Halloween-ish thing, because Raven is supposed to be Arwen from The Lord of the Rings. But I imagined Beastboy to be one of the elven horses described in Eragon - a being considered to be almost equal to elves. Elves can ride them only because they allow them to.
I'm pretty sure Shadowfax, Gandalf's horse, was similar to this. (Eragon takes a lot from LotR, but I don't complain. LotR is the basis for beautiful elves, so every book with tall, stately elves are actually based on what Tolkien imagined. Before that, elves were quirky little creatures usually considered below humans.) [Edit] Jinxkat007 told me that there were tall elves before. She's right - Germanic mythology used tall elves, but they were not as slight, ethereal, elegant as Tolkien's - still, his version of elves is the basis of many modern fantasy fiction.

So, what do you think? I worked unnaturally hard on this one...and I think I went a little crazy on the folds. But yesterday, when I was sketching this, folds were working so wonderfully for me I couldn't resist! Usually folds of clothes escape me, and I end up drawing skintight-looking clothes instead.

I think I like the silver edging around the neck and on the upper arm, it actually looks silver, not gray. At least, I think so. But as the artist, I'm prejudiced, so I would love to know what you all think.
