Of all the 5th generation Pokemon, none fascinate me like this one. It's so packed with concept. It's Salvador Dali's sleeping creature from Persistence of Memory. It's a feminized Drowzee that creates dreams instead of eating them. It evokes Hindu mythology, where Vishnu dreams a new world into existence following the apocalypse.

Without knowing the nature of the dream smoke apart from the fact that it represents the game's wi-fi system, we can imagine a creature which drifts passively from one world to the next, inviting fascination and worship, releasing its peaceful smoke until every person is lulled into an endless sleep. Perhaps they wake up in a new world, a telepathically shared dream free of consequence or suffering, where things don't change or die; an afterlife created for them by a blissfully unaware god.
