It's probably me Picture

This drawing was made for Sezaii's art contest. the rules are:
"You have to choose two different animals you think represent your personality and make a
mythological creature out of it! (for example a typical griffin of cat+bird)"
In my case I chose an ant and an owl.

The ant because of the following personality traits:
- Hard working
- Single minded
- Relentless
- Obsessive sometimes to the point of stupidity
- Willing to do anything for my queen (in my case all three; Anne, Max and Paula)

The owl is for other more complicated reasons:
- My father was known by his friends as "the owl", so I guess I get to inherit some owl-ness from him.
- Although I do show some occasional ant-like stupidity, I'm usually pretty smart, and owls represent wisdom
- And after working around the world with many different people from different nationalities, I have decided that the nursery rhyme:
"A wise old owl lived in an oak
The more he saw the less he spoke
The less he spoke the more he heard.
Why can't we all be like that wise old bird?"
is probably the best advice you can take. And something most people never learn.

Of course an ant is not really an animal, but I'm hoping nobody will notice.

Drawn with a pencil, and inked with a dip pen and sepia ink.
