Cerberus Vase Picture

An project I did awhile for my History or Western Art Class. The project was to design a Greek vase and do our own interpretive design on the vase of anything relating to Greek mythology.

Naturally, I picked a Greek mythical creature, which in this case happens to be my interpretation of a Cerberus. The Cerberus was said to sport 3 heads of large dogs, a lion's body and mane (which was meant to be comprised of snakes but I just made it swishy instead) and the tail was a snake.

Everything was drawn by hand, except for the crackly texture which I believe is from CGtextures.org. Oh, and this particular type of vase is called a Stamnos.

Thanks for looking!
