This drawing was done using oil pastels.

In Greek mythology, Pegasus is the winged horse that was fathered by Poseidon with Medusa. When her head was cut of by the Greek hero Perseus, the horse sprang forth from her pregnant body. Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, war, the arts, industry, justice and skill. According to some Athena herself tamed and bridled Pegasus, and surrendered him to Bellerophon.
