Ancient fresco: The Battle of Marathon Picture

This is a reconstruction the ancient fresco by Micon that stood in the Stoa Poecile in Athens, commemorating victory over the Persians in the battle of Marathon. It contains a great number of historical and mythological figures named (in Greek) in the picture. The reproduction comes from the detailed description in the writings of Pausanias, and this was drawn for a German classical dictionary in the 19th century. I've enlarged the image and made it pure black and white inks for use as a resoruce.
