Transformation Picture

This isn't normally the kind of work I do but I feel like I need to practice this more often. Woodless graphite pencils. Ah, definitely not an ink pen. My hand hasn't been covered in lead for years.

Being inspired to draw in a unique style after looking at a friend's gallery, I was compelled to draw something more challenging and detailed. I always love my Greek Myth. Medusa is one of my favorite mythological characters. She may not be in the Odyssey, but eh, she's frakkin' awesome.

This is supposed to be the moment after Athene has transformed Medusa into a terrifyingly ugly snake beast. D:

I filled her hair with Egyptian Cobras. They seemed like a more appropriate snake for her temple location.
