Tarkaria: How to tell Dragons apart from Wyverns Picture

Dragons evolved from a multi-limbed synapsid reptile that first appeared in the early Permian. These creatures also managed to survive long enough to be remembered by Bronze Age Man, known in mythology as Basilisks. Wyverns, however, evolved from a kind of small theropod dinosaur that first appeared in the late Triassic. The reason both of these creatures look so similar is because they are the result of what's known as Convergent Evolution. That is to say they exploited their environment in a similar way, resulting in similar adaptations needed to perform said tasks. Depicted here is a simple protocol on how to identify Wyverns apart from their less dangerous counterparts.
