The Story of Achilles (Greek)

Achilles mother, Thetis dipped her baby son into the river Styx. Wherever the water touched him he became invincible, this, however excluded where his mother held him by the thumb and forefinger, his heel, which became his weak spot. Many years later, Paris struck Achilles in the heel with an arrow which brought Achilles to his death, as predicted by Hector on his deathbed.
