Saturn Devouring His Son Picture

My reworking of probably my favorite classical art piece, "Saturn Devouring One of His Sons (1821-23)," by Francisco de Goya of Spain. I don't know what it is about this painting but I just love it. So creepy and deranged and just plain odd. This is actually taken out of Roman/Greek mythology. Saturn, or as the Greeks called him: Cronos, was the God of Time. He overthrew his father, Uranus, to become ruler of the universe. He feared his sons would do the same to him, so he consumed them. Through some turn of events though, one of his sons, Zeus, was able to turn on him and banish him. Since Cronos, or Saturn, was the god of Time, this leads into the well known thought of "time consuming all," etc... Goya painted this as part of his personal collection of "black paintings" to decorate his own home, shortly before his death.
