Erinys Praying Picture

The Erinyes were goddesses of vengeance in ancient Greek mythology. The Romans called them the Furiae, which translates to English as the Furies. They were winged like angels, but their eyes dripped blood from having witnessed the sins of mortals. They dressed in black mourning clothes because the madness or disease that they meted on wrongdoers often lead to death.

This particular Erinys (singular of Erinyes) is praying. What is she praying for, you ask? Why, she's saying grace, sinner, and you're the main course!
