Nue Picture

I just photographed (poorly) some of my oil paintings from class for my portfolio and this one cleaned up the nicest, so I figured I'd post it first. Just a simple portrait of my OC Nue, a chimera-like mononoke in traditional Japanese mythology, also pictured here: [link] [link] This was my second to last painting project and my professor urged me to begin with a dark ground and no underdrawing, which had me a little psyched out, but overall it worked out pretty well. His Kabuki markings were fun to do in oil.
