#8 - Mt.Drakon - Far-Seeing Picture
"Cometh, o seeker, welcome thyself to thy rites. See far to look near, to the abyss looks thee seer"
The Chthonian has suceeded, and he did battle Charybdis, who, once without the Dirae Lance, was herself lost to Chaos' maelstrom. The Dirae Lance itself houses incredible capability of portal traveling, due its Panacea properties. Such rift made Abaris aware of the fate of the pilgrim. But Abaris is no longer the guide of the errant Triton. Charon stands in front of the Chthonian. They are on the farthest island of Helladeas, above the chaotic ocean. From these rocky dark mountains, there were crafted many of the Sekhem Arms (to be uploaded in my gallery soon enough), and Charon aids the Chthonian in forging the "Scissor Trident", by using Panacea and Orichalcum based weapons.
Deceased Triton Asclepius believed that the young human who becomes Triton (Gustávos, the pilgrim in this initiatory journey) was capable of using the Asklepian and gathering the sekhem weapons to make it possible the Daimobia to gather Mnemosyne (and its photosynthetic counterpart Teyoliatl), so the Asklepian would be rooted and Kratozoa spines (immortal serpentine organs which holds one's mind) could spring from it. The Asklepian was actually a version of the Tyresian, a split Caduceus (a chaotic reproduction), and it was able to give back life to the very Kratozoa which served as power sources for the Sekhem. But the life they reborn Kratozoa received was absent of 'mind', yet full of memory and streams themselves. That made possible Young Gustávos of becoming Triton even when he no longer had symbiosis with Kratozoa Odysseus, through meontic Kratozoa Harmonia. When he broke his conch many times, he would no longer recreate it, but instead he developed tentacles, becoming a Chthonian, a virtual force of nature.
Asclepius believed the Tritons to have perfected the power of nature and by so to having achieved ipseity. His work were menaced by Telchines who sought the Kratozoa to make weapons, whilst Asclepius wanted them to make others immortal and auto sufficient. That auto-sufficiency, with a mind, was as powerful as a deity itself, and the very existence of something like that would eminently call a war. And it did.
Topakhon Wars, roughly 50 centuries before these recurring events, had witnessed the creation of the Five Vovin Crystals and of the whole kind of beings which would be summarized within only one classification – Vovin, the far-seeing. They had absolute control to the hidden elements as long as they perfected one or another. Tritons learned how to use more than orichalcum with them, and Telchines learned to make the Sekhem with them. Humans learned nothing but feared their power and immense knowledge. But their very status would menace integrity, and soon enough what was 'knowledge' became a strict conviction, and by convenience, formulas and secret information kept held by few. This secrecy was their fatal flaw, for when they did became persecuted by a new hegemonic power (consisting of humans as identity and colonialism of other species which already numbered in few) they wouldn't trust not even 'themselves', for they were never acting as a species, as a nation, or something like that. They were individuals, gods themselves, who symmetrically opposed to hegemonic Gods (as 'Titans' themselves) were but target to the masses of mediocrity, to the normative force of Zeus' scepter. Those who remained, were all too certain of themselves and instead of reaching the Black Diamond (greatest darkness which shines the most), became hard as solid rock and eventually would fade to the streams, to a power only Hydros mastered.
But this time, a new Trident was forged, and the Chthonian would have his choice into mastering it as well. Soon enough, the visions he had whilst in the Chaos dimension made sense too. A young Drakaina once stood against Baal, was swept onto the Chaos dimension and when arrived downwards into this dark island, was prey for Poseidon-Hydros. But she had developed a Kratozoa spine (a black diamond, according to Asclepius' theories) and returned to Chaos. Receiving directly daimobia influence, she was the key into recreating the Asklepian and setting a resistance against the Human Automation (made possible by the artificial fifth stream, released at some five centuries ago in Tredius). Her knowledge, spread through lucid dreaming, would reveal as well that her Rasa (a hidden element) weapon, the Tartarean blade, was somewhere within Tredius, serving as an Omphlaos on its own right, covering a fruitful land in mists, keeping guarded the fruits of life and knowledge and the lake where Kratozoa dwelt, ready to take over animals who were being used by the objectification of mind.
Now, standing on the dark island of the far-seeing, it was like looking to a mirror, the very mirror on Delphi which started the quest. This struggle was rather a resistance of an internal force against exterior ones, and all that was transformed just served to carve ipseity out of transformation. The Triton knew himself and understood the gods. Now, he was a God. He would be aided by Abaris against the already-knowing Hydros. Once escaping, off-world from helladeas, he was no longer Hydros' matters.
Armed with Asclepius' legacy – the Asklepian to bring auto-sufficiency to the beings and with Charon's – the Scissor Trident which can open up the breaches of Chaos to strike both light and dark on those minds eluded by the polarity of objective mind, he was ascertained he was ready to kill the Light God, Sky-Father.
In a struggle made by wits, he would need to tomb Tredius' Industrial civilization, nest to the followers of the light god, and by so he would need aid of the Vovin which remained and reveal them, take them out of their own individual shadowing and set them to break free in the morbid walls of Civilization. The long, lost dream of a better place was now in front of the Chthonian. He believed as a young it was a matter of Nature against Civilization. But with the craft, experience and aid of the Vovin, he was ascertained it was a battle between individuals and a normative, oppressive force laid in the hands of few. He was the very revenge born from Earth and its own depths, born from love and hate of Gaia and Tartarus, he was now 'Typhon', and this time, he was no longer under a rock – he was revealed in a mind, unparalleled to the dreadful realm of the civilized. Revealed, and ready to strike...
