Tarot 18 - The Moon Picture

Upright - The Moon symbolizes inspiration from the unconscious, from dreams. Its usual interpretation often has to do with hallucinations, insanity, wildness...but it also relates to dreams, fantasy, artistic talent, creativity, psychic ability, romance.

Upside-down - Turn the card upside down and what rules and commands the wild is no longer in charge. It is out of primordial ooze, out of chaos, that order comes, but upside-down, it suggests that order is moving into chaos instead. That even the guiding light of the moon has been subjected, and only the primitive reigns - unchecked, directionless, with no purpose or hope of coming to an end.

Creature – Chinese Dragons are legendary creatures in Chinese mythology and folklore, typically portrayed as long, scaled, serpentine creatures with four legs. In contrast to European dragons that are considered evil, Chinese Dragons traditionally symbolize potent and auspicious powers, particularly control over water, rainfall, and floods. The dragon is also a symbol of power, strength, and good luck.
