Positychic and Negatidark Picture

UPDATE: I've added Polursine's Fakedex template and edited the shading and stuff to make them look more "official". I've also added glow effects.

Positychic and Negatidark are a pair of legendary Pokémon which I have made up. The sprites of them shown here are 100% made from scratch. Positychic is the mascot of Pokémon Marble Version and he represents positive energy. His counterpart, Negatidark, is the mascot of Pokémon Obsidian Version and he represents negative energy. They also have a third counterpart known as Cyagonetic ([link]), completing them as a legendary trio.

Unlike most other legendary Pokémon, with the possible exception of Mewtwo, they were not described in ancient mythology and were both considered to be artificial Pokémon, hence why they look robotic. However, both Pokémon are powered by the only surviving sources of forbidden positive and negative energies, the Marble and Obsidian Cores, that have existed since the creation of the universe.

Both Positychic and Negatidark have been created by Team Chaos, the main villians of Pokémon Marble and Obsidian, as a vital part of their plans for world domination.

In Pokémon Marble and Obsidian, depending on version, one of them can be found in the Chaos Vault, which is located deep inside the Team Chaos HQ and is where they were created. They are both encountered at level 50. The opposite mascot legendary can also be found as a roaming Pokémon at the same level after the player has beaten the Pokémon League. In this situation, Positychic and Negatidark are unique among roaming legendaries as they never attempt to flee on sight, making them more like regular wild Pokémon and only move to a different location in battle if fled fom. Because they prefer to wreak havoc around the Shinju region, they would both attempt to dispose of anyone who tries to get in their way instead.

Both Positychic and Negatidark are also encountered at level 50 as roaming Pokémon in the Granite Version after the player has either captured or defeated Cyagonetic on Chaos Station One-Zero.

Both of the legendary Pokémon have the "Overdrive" ability. This ability allows the Pokémon to slightly increase the attack power of same-type moves when their HP gets lower. Both of them also have their own signature moves.

Here's some battle music for a possible encounter with any one of the two: [link]

Here are a couple of fake screenshots of the player battling them as well: [link]

Positychic - The Positive Pokémon
(PSYCHIC/STEEL Type)

Marble Entry:
"A superpowered robotic Pokémon powered by forbidden positive energies. It's unique CPU stores telekinetic energy which allows it to unleash deadly psychic attacks."

Obsidian Entry:
"An artificial Pokémon created with villianous intent. It is powered by the only source of forbidden and powerful positive energies which had existed since the universe began."

Posytichic's signature move is "Posi-Drainer", a PSYCHIC Type move that is a sort of combonation of Solarbeam and Giga Drain. The user charges up the move on the first turn and fires a powerful psychic blast on the second turn. Half of the damage that this move had inflicted on the foe is converted into HP for the user.

The name originates from the words "Positive" and "Psychic".

Negatidark - The Negative Pokémon
(DARK/STEEL Type)

Marble Entry:
"A superpowered robotic Pokémon powered by forbidden negative energies. It is built around a powerful engine for high speed and also has a cloaking device for stealth purposes."

Obsidian Entry:
"An artificial Pokémon created with villianous intent. It is powered by the only source of forbidden and powerful negative energies which had existed since the universe began."

Negatidark's signature move is "Nega-Blaster", a DARK Type move that is a sort of inverted version of moves like Fly, Dig and Shadow Force. The user attacks with a dark burst of energy and then disappears after the move hits. This allows the user to dodge most enemy moves yet also causing a large amount of damage at the same time. The user reappears after the foe had made it's move.

The name originates from the words "Negative" and "Dark".
