Do You Fear Death? Picture

"Do you fear death? Do you fear that dark abyss? All your deeds laid bare, all your sins punished? I can offer you…an escape."

I had been putting this piece off for a LONG while now. There was something intimidating about the level of detail that Industrial Light & Magic breathed into him. But luckily, I feel this came out better than I could have hoped. Thank you very much, Newell Rubbermaid Office Products. =]

There is something truly tragic is his story. His emptiness and pitiless, vehement rage. As well as his sadness and vulnerability. He is unable to live with the torment that is his love for Calypso (despite her abandonment of him) causes him or the knowledge of his own betrayal of her to the Brethren Court. I like to believe that after his death in the Maelstrom, that he found peace in her arms at last, but one cannot say for sure. I still hope so.
Not to mention with his portrayal by Mr. Bill Nighy it all comes across on the screen so vividly. Just beautiful.
Without question, he is my favorite character within the entire Pirates mythology... with Hector Barbossa coming in a near second.

Still waiting to see On Stranger Tides.
