Nightmare's Bane Picture

While you sleep I tread the night,
Down low-lit road and lane,
To hunt your dreams while out of sight,
I am the nightmare's bane.

Those few lines popped into my head when I finished this piece, I started with the idea of a creature that ate bad dreams. In Japanese mythology there is such a creature, called a Baku I think.
Well they don't look much like this, but dream-eaters exist in many cultures.
In one particular dream I had, the opening to a subway changed into the entrance to a room of obstacles, barring my way was a wolf with ice-blue eyes. When it snarled and still I refused to turn back it became an ally.

The rail in front of him was bugging me, I got rid of it ^^
